So, I woke up this morning to an odd tapping noise, it sounded mildly like a squirl was tapping on my window, trying to break in or something. I decided whatever it was woudl eventually go away, and I tried to go back to sleep, however the noise was loud enough and obnoxious enough that I decided to get up and investigate. As soon as I sat up, I noticed, water, dripping from my celing, onto my desk. The noise was drip, tap, splat. Drip, tap, splat. Drip, tap, splat. You get the point.
Deciding that the fact it was raining in my room was cause for mild alarm, I took a picture and sent it in a text message to my landlord. And cause I was up and moving much earlier than normal I was able to have a relitivly productive morning, meaning I was able to call my Dr. who probably thinks I have her number on speed dial and get a perscription for Xanex for my MRI later today.
My original plan was just to try to talk them out of using contrast material, (hey its worked before) or see if they would just put me on oxyegen so that I could get a mild high before they ingected me with the contrast (also has worked before). But this way I get the high without having to have a panic attack first, which all in all is the more adult thing to do. YAY Im growing up. Kinda.
Anyway, I should go so that I can go get my sandwhich and eat it and still have plenty of time to get to the MRI place early.
Oh, and just in case you were curious, the reason it was raining in my room is because my roomate is a moron and took a shower in the bathroom upstairs without closing the door to the shower, so it leaked, through the floor, into my room.
