But if your gut is screami...I think it sounds fine. But if your gut is screaming at you and you are totally uncomfortable...nah, keep challenging yourself. You'll get in the flow!Elizabeth Seckmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00045076826326574984noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-722740463726614666.post-41362312333225971352012-07-11T16:05:49.614-04:002012-07-11T16:05:49.614-04:00I LOVE it. I'd totally read a book that start...I LOVE it. I'd totally read a book that starts like that (in fact, right now I'm kind of wishing you'd posted way more than a paragraph). That's the kind of voice I like best, the one that sounds like an internal monologue, but isn't as awkward.

As for getting out of your head, don't put too much pressure on yourself. Even if nothing comes from this book, if you enjoy writing it and you enjoy what you put out, then it's worth it. And the more you can think of it like that, as just something you're doing for fun, the easier it will be to keep from getting bogged down. At least I think. I've never quite been able to successfully put this into action. :-)Tobi Summershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04568662522495853235noreply@blogger.com
